BBC Radio 4 is currently running a series of programmes A History of the World in a Hundred Objects which uses a hundred objects from the British Museum to illustrate the history of human development. Pictures of each object can be found on the website together with a commentary. You can also listen to the programmes or download a podcast.
The programmes will be of particular interest to students and researchers in archaeology, history and art history.
